I really began taking an interest in all things creative when I was working overseas. I suppose, though, it began earlier than that because of my Mother, who used to knit when we were children, and also make some of our clothes. I learned to knit first, then crochet, and even made a few clothes for myself. My interest in art came later. My first recollection of producing something artistic came when I learned the art of making stained glass panels and fused glass items. My initial journey into the unknown world of oil painting came soon afterwards, after a brief encounter using watercolours. However, it was soon after I had been given the opportunity to experiment with oil paints, that I really became excited about painting. I...
